Using the EdEffects LET’S PLAY SCHOOL Backpack
When using the backpack, parents, teachers, relatives, siblings, or friends should consider the following daily suggested times:
Letters and Words -10 Minutes +
The blue area promotes Reading readiness. The supplies for the blue section are magnetic letters, white board, crayons, books and a col-oring book.
Shapes and Numbers – 5 Minutes +
The red area promotes Math readi-ness. The supplies for the red section are magnetic numbers, white board, crayons, colored shapes, flash cards and dice.
Play Nice – 5 Minutes +
The ideas in the yellow section will help your student learn how to play nice with teachers, friends, and have fun at school.
Field Trips – Whenever you are out
The ideas in the green section are engaging and healthy activities that you can do when you are in the car, shopping or taking a walk.
*Each color-coded area includes multiple health and wellness activities indicated by a sun pictured in the upper right hand corner. These activities utilize movement and/or healthy practices to help reinforce childhood wellness.
