Do I need to teach my kids how to use their backpack? Not necessarily. The backpack can be used for play by all children ages 3-8. The learning becomes substantially more effective and engaging when a parent, caregiver, or older sibling assists with the process.
When should I use the different color kits? Please see the Product page for a detailed description of the suggested use.
How long will it take for my backpacks to arrive? Order fulfillment varies depending on the size of the order. Smaller order can be shipped quickly. Bulk orders require additional lead time for printing and shipping.
Can I use the backpack program as part of my K-2 curriculum? Yes. The program was designed by early childhood educators and cross aligns with Common Core Standards for grades Preschool-2nd grade.
Can the backpack be used for after school programs? Yes. The program works best with multiple children interacting. After school tutoring or community-based programs will benefit from the rich content and focused activities.
Does this purchase qualify as a Title I expense? Yes. As an enhancement to Math and Reading instruction for struggling students, the EdEffects program is ideal for extra Title instruction in grades K & 1 and remediated instruction in grades 2 & 3. Additionally, 21st Century Community Learning Centers funding can also be used for incorporating into extended day programs.
